Apollyon was destroyed

Greetings Hapes, I’m Solveig Taffy, this is your daily news report.

We get sad news from the Republic Fleet over Abregado Rae. The Admiralty has reported the loss of our admiral ship, the Apollyon which was sent to join the Republic war effort to protect Naboo. Most of the crew have been rescued but the Lady Commander Zhan is missing along with her right hand, the Commodore Wash.

A footage from another vessel shows the explosion which blasted the Apollyon above Abregado Rae.

The explosion was very violent. The chances to find the Lady Commander and the Commodore alive are really thin.

The Du’cha of Charubah commented the news to the reporters on Charubah.

The footage now shows Anastasia Zhan in a black mourning dress on the stairs of Saint Clavelle abbey. The Du’Cha was trying to get into the Zhan armored speeder. When she was asked to comment, the mourning mother answered, pissed.

"... We are praying for her spirit and are in mourning! Do not ask me anything further until I am ready to give a public statement!"

As soon the Du’cha and her followers reached the Palace, Lady Alessandra Zhan, second daughter to Du’cha Zhan spokes to reporters.

The new footage shows Alessandra Zhan, wearing also a mourning dress. She is standing straight in front of the reporters crew.

".. Her file officially reads: Missing. In. Action'... We mourn, but I know my sister. Don't underestimate her."

Later today, in the garden of the Saint Clavelle palace, The Du’Cha of Charubah spoke to the reporters, surrounded by her consort, her second daughter, her grand-daughters Victorine and Hera and other relatives. She honored the memory of her daughter.

"It is with a heavy heart that I announce that the HMNS Apollyon, flagship of my daughter, the Duch'da Relina Anastasia Jo'raa Lyn Zhan, second of her name, Lady Commander of the Royal Navy, was lost at the Battle of Abregado Rae just three days ago. Relina was a pillar of morale for all those who served with her and was one of the finest leaders in Hapan history. She was respected by her commanding officers, her peers, and her subordinates alike. She was much loved by her family, the People of Charuabh, and of the Hapes Consortium at large. She is survived by her wife, Henrietta of House Ani'Tali of Farnica and their two daughters, Victorine and Hera.

Her valour, her honour, and the sacrifice she gave to save the lives of the crew she could save in the face of disaster and in defiance of defeat have ennobled us all. Having attained the highest rank possible in the Hapan Royal Navy, that of Lady Commander, there cannot be a posthumous two-rank promotion, as is customary, nor is there a body to bury. So, she shall be symbolically buried at Saint Clavelle's Abbey with full military honours at dusk tomorrow. All may pay their respects. Thank you."

After the destruction of the Apollyon, the Admiralty spokesman confirmed the launch of the newest battle dragon, which is currently orbiting Hapes Prime. The Ship wasn’t named yet.
